State of Warri

 

Some hours after the broadcast by the Delta State Governor, Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa, on the imposed 48-hour curfew in the state. 

The city of Effurun, Warri and it’s environs started experiencing abnormal events.  At the market it was hike in price of food stuff or items, a lot of panic here and there, for those driving heavy traffic…fuel stations around some axis have refused to sell petrol since 2pm to motorist or even in gallons.

For a lot of parents who had their wards at school rushed off to pick them and presently have a sigh of relief as school closure was announced for public and private primary and secondary schools until November 2nd, 2020.

Hoodlums for unknown reasons visited the Federal Correctional Centre, Okere, Warri and that place has not been in a balance state as some part of the prison was set on fire.

Citizens of Effurun, Warri and it’s environs are praying for their safety even as the curfew would commence at 6p.m. today being Thursday the 22nd day of October, 2020.
