Have you ever gotten to a crossroad before now? Where you had to stay at that spot for hours not knowing which route to take. In life you will discover that a physical Crossroad is far better and easier than the mental crossroad.
A crossroad is an intersection of two or more roads (physical). However, the mental crossroad is when you get to a point of making a crucial decision which has far reaching consequences with different options on your table.
A crossroad is a point in a man’s life where he stops and looks at the various options and from where he/she is standing tries to determine the consequences of each route if taken.
Sometimes you would wish your crossroad is presented as different meals on a buffet table, where you can pick based on it’s presentation, but it’s a lot harder than that.
A crossroad can present itself at various stages of one’s life, it could be the way forward after graduation, it could present itself making a choice of who to spend the rest of one’s life with, it could be whether to stay or call if quit at your present work place, it could be what to do when you are unemployed or when you are low in cash, it could be you faced with retirement and we can go on listing as it is inconclusive.
When you get to a cross road in life I recommend you count the cost carefully, by sitting at that junction, count the cost both short term and long term goals, get rid of fear and pray about the next move by asking the Holy Spirit to help you by showing you the path of peace. Then take steps onward and forward.
See every crossroad as an adventure into something new and exciting, it gives room for mistake but don’t stop at the mistake for so long, if you fall at your crossroad dust yourself up and move on. See light at the end of the route. Be hopeful for the best is before you. Don’t give up by calling it quit because quitters never win.
