Believer’s Victory over Sin and Satan

Believer’s Victory over  Sin and Satan

To deal with the topic, I will be expanciating on some significant issues below so that we can understand or grapse the position as regards sin and death which will lead us to another concept.

THE BIRTHING PLACE: His birthing place was in a manger where lambs were kept. It replaced the former order of remission of sin which was the blood of bulls, sheeps…

In the former order the blood of sheep’s was a temporary mode of cleansing ones entire nation or self from sin, but Jesus birth changed that state, he brought about a once and for all solution for cleansing of Sins 1 John 1:7(amp)
“But if we (really) are living and walking in the light, as He (Himself) is in the light, we have (true, unbroken) fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His son Cleanses (removes) us from all sin and guilt (keep us cleansed from sin in all its forms and manifestation). Colossian 1:13-14

THE BAPTISM AND DEATH ON THE CROSS: Jesus baptism puts us at an advantaged position which is buttressed in Colossians 2:12-15,
“Thus you were circumcised when you were buried with him in (your) baptism, in which you were also raised with him (to a new life) through (your) faith in the working of God (as displayed) when He raised Him up from the dead. And you who were dead in trespasses and in the circumcision of your flesh (your sensuality, your sinful carnal nature), (God) brought you to life together with (Christ), having (freely) forgiven us all our trespasses, having cancelled and blotted out and wiped away the handwriting of the note (bond) with its legal decrees and demands which was in force and stood against us (hostile to us). This (note with is regulations, decrees, and demands) He set aside and cleared completely out of our way by nailing it to (His) cross. God disarmed the principalities and powers that were ranged against us and made a bold display and public example of them, in triumphing over them in Him and in it (the cross).

In Luke 24:21-23 (CEV) Jesus overcame death after three days Having paid this great price that no man on earth could do, he commanded us to believe that we might received his promise which could be said as an ACT OF FAITH.

From the above it is obvious the Jesus took care of Sin and Satan too, making us the righteousness of God in Christ  Jesus, sin and death has no power over a believer. God accepted us as his beloved.

If God has these in place for us then what Battle is Next?
